Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington DC (PPMW) was founded on the visionary idea that access to sex education and reproductive health care could transform people’s lives. One of our obstacles is that individuals lack information that is imperative to their sexual and reproductive health. The implementation of abstinence-only sex education has been proven time and time again to be ineffective at preparing youth to make the best decisions for themselves. 

To help make our vision a reality, we centered this cause in the heart of our merch shop, the PPMW Store. We are pleased to design products that speak to our audience but are even more thrilled about the impact that the PPMW Store will have on our youth. We are proud that 100% of profits made from the PPMW Store will support sexual and reproductive health and education initiatives and programs for youth living in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. 

While Planned Parenthood continues to fight for better sex education in schools, we have also developed sex education kits to help you provide medically accurate information to your students. We designed the Birth Control Educator Kit to serve all of your teaching needs. This comprehensive birth control educator kit allows you to tailor your sex education program to the age and comfort level of your audience while offering an interactive, "hands-on" learning experience complete with a large variety of products. Your sex education kit will come with a wide breadth of products like IUD replicas and other birth control samples.
